Tamar Merjian, MS, LMHC, LPC


Tamar Merjian has a Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University.


Tamar works with a wide variety of populations and currently specializes in children and adolescents as well as adults. Some of her main areas of expertise include treating and managing anxiety and stress, building self-esteem and self worth, and developing positive body image. She has a passion for working with children and addressing school age concerns and teaching them how to manage impulses and behavior.


Her unique method is integrative and combines different styles to help fit the needs of each client and provide effective, individualized mental health care.

Her person-centered approach is especially helpful in the development of skill-building techniques and creating goals that combat the challenges of depression, ADHD, grief, and more. Also, as a certified yoga instructor, Tamar often uses yoga to assist in managing anxiety. 

Tamar is dual licensed and practices in Florida and Pennsylvania.
